Jon and Sam resided in Brisbane with their young family. Jon is a long servicing serviceman in the Army and Sam is a Real Estate Journalist for News Corp.

They are a young family that enjoy the simple things in life such as camping, fishing and outdoor adventures. Tropical North Queensland with its natural beauty, reef, rainforest and stunning beaches the young family knew this was the place they wanted to live and enjoy.

“We got a camping trailer and we are planning on doing the Daintree Crib track after we settle in – it looks like a beautiful place”, said Sam.

Sam and Jon with a budget of roughly $700,000 were torn between the South and North of Cairns.

We advised Sam and Jon that budget wise they had the luxury which allowed to get them into both parts of Cairns. Some families unfortunately don’t have that luxury when relocating to Cairns and their budget can only get them into South Cairns that has a lower entry point in terms of price.

The team at Tropical Life Buyers Agency knew that if Jon and Sam bought in South Cairns their dollar would go a lot further and the quality of home they would be able to buy would certainly be of higher calibre than North Cairns. However, the downside was that despite the better quality home the land wouldn’t be as valuable if they bought in North Cairns. Particularly the Northern Beaches where land is extremely scares, and this was ultimately the selling point for the outdoor couple that Trinity Park is where they wanted to be. Long term Jon and Sam felt that having land that appreciated in value was a lot more important than the house itself.

After several weeks of searching for the right property Sam and Jon successfully secured 18 Carrington Way in Trinity Park. It sits on a lovely 600m2 block with no rear neighbours, dual side access, with plenty of room for the family.

“We plan on doing some cosmetic renovation work to make it our own and then eventually put in a nice little plunge pool for the kids”, Sam said.

Being only a few minutes from Trinity Beach and Kewarra Beach they are looking forward to making many memories here.
