Located only 25mins away from the Townsville CBD sits its only beachside masterplanned community Bushland Beach. This masterplanned beachside community boosts all the amenity needed for a thriving community from a local plaza, cafes, sports clubs and of course a Tropical Beach with breathtaking views of Magnetic Island.

Known for its quiet and laid back lifestyle this suburb has been one of Townsville’s hottest over the last 24 for months.

Surprisingly, Bushland Beach is one of the last beachside residential areas in Queensland close to a Regional Centre CBD that has a median house price still sitting under $500,000.

This suggests that the suburb certainly has plenty of upside potential. Similar beachside communities in Cairns such as Trinity Beach, Kewarra Beach, Clifton Beach and Palmcove all have median house prices between $600,000 – 1 million dollars respectively.

Despite very similar demographics of young families, working professionals and retirees looking for that lifestyle shift Bushland Beach is still very cheap to its Northern neighbours yet boosting all the same fundamentals.

Even further South you’ve got locations such as Airlie Beach, Yeppoon on the Capricorn Coast and Bundaberg Coastline where prices have ballooned well over $500,000 in many of their beachside suburbs. But do not have the same fundamentals such as population size and growth as Townsville which positions Bushland Beach as almost a bargain.

The Median House price for Bushland Beach currently sits at $480,000 and the Team at Tropical Life Buyers Agency believe it could reach $700,000 by the end of this decade.

If you are an investor with a sub $550,000 dollar budget, then it’s definitely a suburb we believe should be put on the shortlist when it comes in investing in North Queensland and even Regional Queensland as a whole.

Other key data points suggest that it’s still a suburb in strong demand with low days on market figures, high online search interest rates and low vendor discounting rates.

If you are a property buyer that needs help navigating the North Queensland property market reach out to the Tropical Life Buyers Agency team.
